A couple of girls 4 go out on a boat trip to celebrate one of their birthdays / the mother is there also but she does not see when the boat they are in flips over and the girls end up in the water / Christina swims to get the mother who is on the bigger boat / she goes to get the other 3 girls and leaves Christina there for a while / Christina said it would be ok / the mother picked up the three girls and goes back to get Christina and finds she is floating head down in the water / they pick her from the water and start c.p.r / the ambulance takes her to the hospital / the girls were drinking champagne / Christina went to her friend house even though her parents told her not to / Victoria Place , South End is the friends house / “ she sat back in her seat fastened her belt and decided at the very least to try to enjoy this day with her friend and after that she was not sure “ the boat ride 11-4 pm / hired a cruiser from which they could launch their own outboard in the water north of the historic fishing port of Gloucester Cape Ann about forty minutes Northeast of Boston / Boston police officer Susan Leigh and officer Tommy Wu were going to Gloucester harbor to tak a mandatory water safty training couse as part of an education program instituted by the current commissioncer of police.

Jack reached his office / Jack is a cop / when he go to the office he realized that there was a blakout in the city / he called regan no answer / he rushed home to Regan / Regan at the loft got locked on the roof by an intruder / Jack got to the loft and bumped into a neighboor who said there was a trespasser / he went up to the loft and unlocked Regan from the roof / she asked where the Chinese food was.

Kit is helped by the comedian Billy Peebler to the out side / kit has crutches from a surgery / Georgina had went for a smoke and kit can’t find her / the hostess told kit that Georgina left in a cab with a man / kit is going to call her best friend in downtown Tribeca to see if she is home / a fourth floor loft / kit hopes she is home.

Lorraine Lily just got off a plane from a remote town in England with a population of about eleven / she was in a play / she got home to New York City and calls her husband on the phone / he wants a divorce / he sold the loft but she needs to get back in to get her stuff in a safe behind the closet no one knows about / if they found it her life would be finished / her husband Conrad sold loft to Jack and Regan Reilly / they just got home from a three day week end at the Cap / Jack dropped Regan off at the loft / when she got inside every thing was dark.

New York City is hit by a black out.
